Payments and deposits
Who we are. KAIZER Booking is software provided by Kaizer Inc., New York, USA. This page explains how money moves when a salon takes deposits and card payments through the program.
In short: the salon is the seller, and the money goes straight to the salon’s own payment account. Kaizer Inc. never holds clients’ money.

The key points
How it works
The salon’s own payment account
To take online deposits and payment links, the salon connects its own Stripe account. For a card terminal at the salon it may connect its own Square account. Payments go directly into the salon’s account with that processor.
When the salon opens that account it accepts the processor’s own terms — the Stripe Services Agreement or the Square General Terms. Those terms, not ours, govern the processing of the payment.
Who the seller is
The salon is the seller of its services and the merchant of record for every payment its clients make. Kaizer Inc. is not a party to the sale between the salon and its client.
Kaizer Inc. does not receive, hold or transfer clients’ money, and is not a payment processor, bank or money transmitter. The program only shows the payment form of the salon’s processor and records the result.
Rules for clients
Deposits, cancellations and no-shows
The salon decides whether a service needs a deposit, how much it is, and what happens to it if the client cancels late or does not come.
These rules are shown to the client on the booking page before payment, and the client agrees to them by paying. The salon must apply the rules exactly as they were shown at the time of booking.
Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds are made by the salon — from the program or from its Stripe or Square account. The refund goes back to the card that paid.
If a cardholder disputes a payment with their bank (a chargeback), the matter is between the salon, its processor and the card issuer. The salon answers the dispute and bears its cost under its processor agreement. On request we help the salon find what it needs for the answer: the booking, the rules the client saw and the time of payment.
Money matters
Fees
Processing fees are charged by Stripe or Square to the salon under its own agreement with them. Kaizer Inc. adds nothing to the payments the salon receives.
If the salon passes the card fee on to clients (a surcharge or a cash discount), it is responsible for following the card networks’ rules and the law of its state, including showing the fee to the client before payment.
Card data
Card details are entered in the processor’s own secure form or on its terminal and go straight to the processor. Our servers never receive or store card numbers or security codes.
We keep only what the processor sends back: the card brand, the last four digits, the amount and the payment ID — so the salon can find a payment and refund it.
Taxes and receipts
The salon is responsible for sales tax on its services and goods, for the receipts it gives its clients and for its own bookkeeping. The program helps: it can add tax to a payment and send the client a receipt.
Our subscription
Paying for KAIZER Booking
The KAIZER Booking subscription itself is billed by Kaizer Inc. through Stripe. It renews until the subscriber cancels; cancelling stops the next charge and the period already paid runs to its end.
Payments for a period that has already started are not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise. See the Terms of Service.
