Privacy Policy
Who we are. KAIZER Booking is provided by Kaizer Inc., New York, USA (“we”). Contact: support@kaizerbooking.com.
KAIZER Booking is salon management software you use by subscription. This policy explains what data comes into the program, why it is needed and what we do with it.
Updated 30 September 2026
The key points
The data of a salon's clients belongs to that salon. We hold and process it only so the program can work and only on the salon's instructions. We do not sell data, do not pass it on for advertising and do not use it for mailings of our own.
Data
Who is responsible for what
The salon decides what data about its clients to collect and why, explains this to its clients and takes their consent where the law of its country requires it. We act as the processor: we store the data, give the salon's staff access to it and do what the salon switched on in its settings.
If you are a client of a salon and want to know what data exists about you, or want it deleted, please ask the salon. The salon can do this itself in the program.
What data comes into the program
- About the salon: name, address, phones, e-mail, invoicing details, staff and their rights.
- About the salon's clients: name, phone, e-mail, date of birth, photos, the master's notes, the history of appointments and payments, forms and signatures if the salon uses them.
- About the program's own work: login times, device address, actions in the browser, so faults can be traced and the account protected.
- About the subscription payment: that a payment happened and how much, the card brand and its last four digits. We never see or store the card number.
Why we process it
To run appointments and the calendar, count payments and reports, send the salon's clients reminders and letters on the salon's behalf, show the online booking page, keep the account running and answer support requests.
Who receives data
Only the services the salon switched on itself, and only what those services need. The full list is on the Security page. If an integration is off, nothing goes there.
Google Calendar (Google user data)
A master can connect their own Google Calendar so the salon's appointments appear in it. For this the program asks Google only for two permissions: to see the list of the master's calendars (so the master can choose which one to use) and to create, change and delete the events the program itself adds for that master's appointments. The program does not read, copy or keep the master's other events.
What goes into the calendar: the service, the date and time and, depending on the salon's settings, the client's name (or first name only), phone, price, deposit and the appointment notes.
The access key Google gives for this is kept in the salon's database on our servers and is used only to keep those appointments up to date. We do not sell it or pass it on, and we do not use Google data for advertising or to train AI models. Pressing Disconnect in the program deletes the key; access can also be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
KAIZER Booking's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where data is stored
On a server in New York, USA. Every salon has its own separate database.
Storage and rights
How long we keep it
While the salon uses the program. The e-mail and SMS journals can be set to clean themselves after a chosen period. Backups are kept for 30 days. After a subscription ends the data stays available for export for a limited time and is then deleted.
How long each kind of data is kept
- Client cards, appointments and payments: while the salon uses the program, or until the salon deletes them.
- E-mail and SMS journals: a period chosen by the salon, from one month to a year, or unlimited.
- The staff action journal: one year.
- Failed login attempts: one day. Trusted devices: 30 days.
- Backups: 30 days.
- After a subscription ends: data stays available for export for 90 days, then it is deleted.
Rights
A salon can export its client base and other tables to Excel at any time, correct or delete a client card and close a member of staff's access. At the owner's request we delete the salon's account.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from a salon's mailings with the link in the letter or by replying STOP to an SMS. We send no advertising mailings, and neither the site nor the program sets tracking cookies. More on the Your privacy choices page.
Residents of other countries
For residents of Europe, the United Kingdom and Canada
The salon is the data controller and we are the processor acting on its instructions. Data is stored in the USA; the transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses. You have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the processing of your data, to receive a copy, and to complain to the supervisory authority of your country. Send the request to the salon, or to us if the salon does not answer. Details and the data processing agreement are on the GDPR page.
For California residents
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for others' advertising, so there is no sale to opt out of. You have the right to know which categories of data were collected about you, to receive a copy, to correct or delete it, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. The categories we collect are listed above under What data comes into the program.
Other
Cookies
We use only the cookies without which signing in would not work: the login session and the trusted-device mark. The program itself carries no advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
The program is made for running a salon. A salon enters data about clients who are minors only with their parents' consent where the law requires it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top and say so in the program under What's new.
