Online store
The goods from your stock sold on a separate page: the client picks, pays by card or at pick-up, and the order lands in Sales. Max plan.
Switch it on
- Settings → Online store: tick “The store is open”, write the name and a few words for the top of the page, press Save.
- In Stock open a product card and tick “Sell in the online store”; add a description and up to 5 photos (the first one is the cover). Only such products are shown; a product with zero stock shows “Out of stock”.
- The link to the store is at the top of the settings (“Copy link”, “Open the store”). Put it on Instagram or your site.
The «Online store» menu
In the left menu, under Accounting, there is a grey block «Online store ▾». Press it and everything for the store unfolds. The red circle on the block is the number of new orders.
- Orders — every online order: mark as paid, ready for pick-up, shipped, completed, cancel (the card is refunded, the goods go back to the stock).
- Products in the store — what is sold online: photo, price, stock. The tick puts a product into the store or takes it out; «Edit» opens its card. Switch to «Not in the store yet» to add goods from the stock.
- Store sales — for a period: paid orders, revenue, average order, tax, delivery, top products, by day, pick-up or delivery, card or at pick-up.
- Customers — who ordered online, how many times and for how much. Tick the clients and press «Email the selected» — the mailing opens with them.
- Promo codes — discount codes for the store only: a percent or an amount, a minimum order, a number of uses, an expiry date. The client types the code in «Coupon code» at checkout; the salon's coupons work there too.
- Abandoned carts — the client started a card payment but did not finish. The program reminds them by email or SMS after the set number of hours (once, in the client's language); you can remind by hand or remove the cart. These carts do not appear in «Orders».
- Running low — goods of the store at or under the reorder point from the product card; a «Purchase order» button.
- The store settings, its link and the QR code are in Settings → Online store: the buttons «Copy link», «Open the store» and «QR code» (download PNG or print).
Pick-up and delivery
Pick-up — the client collects at the salon; write when and where. Delivery — one price for every address and “free from” an order amount. If areas differ in price, add zones: each has a name, a list of postal codes (comma-separated, in any country's format; “112*” covers every 112xx), a fee and “free from”. Then the client types the postal code, the program finds the zone and the fee; a code outside every zone gets “we do not deliver there”.
Payment
- By card on the page — through the same Stripe as deposits for appointments (Settings → Booking settings). Delivery is paid by card only.
- At pick-up — the goods are put aside, the client pays in the salon; then press “Mark as paid” on the order.
- Sales tax is added to taxable goods (the “Taxable” box in the product card) at the rate from Accounting → Reports → Sales tax.
- Coupons from the Coupons section work in the store too.
Orders
Accounting → Online orders (or the Orders button in the store settings). A new order brings a push and an email. An order has the buttons “Ready for pick-up”, “Shipped” (with a tracking number), “Completed”, “Cancel the order”. The client gets an email at every step and sees the status by the link from the letter.
Stock and sales
Every order is a sale in Accounting → Sales, numbered W-0001, W-0002… The goods leave the stock when the order is placed (with a card — when it is paid). Cancelling puts the goods back and refunds a card payment to the client (5–10 days).
Look of the store
The store settings have the “Look of the store” card. By default the store looks like the booking page. Pick “Its own look” and the store gets its own style from the same set as the booking page (all 12 styles, premium ones included, come with Max), its own accent and background colours, heading font, logo, a cover at the top and a welcome line. The promo banner at the top and “Recommended” (products shown first) work with either look. After Save the preview below updates.
Page blocks
The store page is built from blocks, like in website builders. In “Settings → Online store” the card “Page blocks”: the ▲▼ arrows change the order, “Hide” switches a block off, × removes it, “Settings” opens its fields. “+ Add a block” adds: a cover with a heading and a button (its own photo or the cover from the look of the store), a promo banner, a product selection (recommended, new arrivals or a category), category tiles, “photo + text”, reviews, Instagram (photos from the gallery of the booking page), contacts and hours (with a map and a “Book now” button), the catalog of all products and a footer. Below are the catalog settings: products in a row (2–4), square or tall photo, an “Add to cart” button right on the tile. Everything you change is shown on the phone on the right at once; “Save” publishes it.
Pages of the store
Besides the main page you can add up to six pages (“About us”, “Delivery”, “Questions”): the “+ Page” button above the blocks. Pages are built from the same blocks and appear in the menu at the top of the store. Switch between pages with the buttons above the list of blocks.
Draft and publishing
“Save as a draft” puts the changes aside: clients see the previous page while you keep working. “Publish” (or the usual “Save”) releases them. “Discard the draft” brings the published version back. Blocks can also be dragged by the ⋮⋮ handle.
New blocks
A slideshow (several covers that change by themselves), columns with icons (your advantages), questions and answers, a subscription to news (the e-mails are collected in the “Subscribers” card, with a CSV download), a selection “chosen by hand”. The promo banner can carry the end of the sale and counts down to it. At the bottom of the page there is a chat button (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or a call). The product card shows “You may also like” and the SKU. The preview switches between “Phone” and “Computer”.
Product card and cart
The product window and the cart have their own template and colours, apart from the style of the page: step 3 “Product card and cart” in the card “Look of the store”. Templates: a window in the middle, a drawer from the right, a sheet from below, wide (photos left, text right). For each — a background, text and button colour; an empty colour means “as in the style”. The buttons “Show the product card / the cart on the phone” open them in the preview on the right.
Theme store
Step 1 “Ready themes” in the card “Look of the store”. A theme is a complete ready look: style, colours, the set of blocks, the product card and the cart. Eight built-in themes (Boutique, Minimal, Luxe, Editorial, Showcase, Promo, Salon, Neon), themes “From KAIZER” published by the platform, and “My themes”. “Apply” puts the theme into the editor; your texts, photos and products move into the blocks of the same type; “Publish” makes it live. Your own look can be saved as a theme, downloaded as a file and loaded in another salon. The preview on the right switches between “Phone”, “Tablet” and “Computer”.
Your own address
The store settings have the “Your own address” card: the store can open at your domain, for example www.glowbeauty.com or shop.glowbeauty.com. See the article “Your own address”.
Product search
When the store has more than three products, a search box appears above the catalog: it looks through the name, SKU, category and description, and the result changes as you type.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
“Settings → Online store → Payment and tax”: under “Pay by card” the box “Apple Pay and Google Pay”. On save the program registers the addresses of the store with your Stripe; the line under the box shows the result (“Apple Pay is on” or an error). On the storefront a button Apple Pay (iPhone, Safari) or Google Pay (Chrome, Android) appears above the card field; the client confirms with a fingerprint or face, the address and phone come from the wallet. The money lands on the same Stripe account as card payments.
Products in other languages
In the product card in “Stock”, in the block “Sell in the online store”, there is “Translations for the storefront”: the name and the description in English, Russian and Spanish. A client who picked a language of the storefront sees the product in it; where there is no translation the main name is shown.
Product page and Google
Every product has its own page with an address like /shop/p/15 — the links “Product page” and “Share” in the product window. Such links suit Instagram, and Google sees the name, price and availability on them (product markup). In “Settings → Online store → Store” the fields “Title for Google” and “Description for Google”. The sitemap of the store: /shop/sitemap.xml — add its address in Google Search Console.
Shipping by carrier
The card “Shipping by carrier” in the store settings. Rates and labels come from EasyPost (easypost.com): create a free account there, add a card and paste the production API key. Enter the ship-from address, the box size and the default weight of an order; each product can carry its own weight in its card. The storefront gets the way “Shipping by carrier”: the client enters the address, presses “Show shipping options” and picks USPS, UPS or FedEx with a live price (plus your markup). In “Online orders” such an order has the button “Buy the label”: the label is paid from your EasyPost account, the tracking number is filled in by itself, “Print the label” opens the PDF.
Categories and subgroups
Groups come from the “Category” field of the product card in Stock, subgroups from its “Type”. In “Settings → Online store → Catalog → Categories on the storefront” they get names for clients and an order, and any can be hidden; new groups and types appear there by themselves. “Category menu” is buttons above the goods or a list on the left (on a phone the list folds into a “Categories” button). A product selection can be tied to a group or a subgroup.
Product photos
A product carries up to 10 photos (the product card in Stock). In the product window and on its page the client swipes them on a phone or uses the arrows on a computer; dots and thumbnails sit under the photo.
